Board of Education grants
superintendent leave of absence

At its regular meeting October 14, the Hilton Central School District Board of Education granted Hilton Superintendent of Schools John Cooper an immediate leave of absence for an indefinite duration. The board voted 5-0 (Chris Cosgrove absent and one position to be appointed following Dale Beehler's resignation) to approve the resolution which followed an executive session earlier in the evening.

The board granted the superintendent who came to Hilton Schools in 2000, a leave of absence with full pay and benefits for an indefinite duration. In his absence, Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES District Superintendent Tod Eagle will become acting superintendent.
