Parma Archery
holds club shoot

Parma Archers was formed 14 months ago when two Hilton bowmen, Al Howe and Bert Marlatt, thought that target archery needed some recognition. The two men talked with friends and soon Parma Archers was formed. All members use recurve bows and shoot at ranges from 20 to 60 yards. Some have sights on their bows (freestyle) and others do not use sights (barebow). On the last day of October, the club had a championship shoot followed by a luncheon. This was the end of outdoor shooting until spring, however, members shoot every week at an indoor range. Al Howe received the barebow award, Dennis Koch the flu flu award and Glen Spiroff the free style award. For club information call 392-9730.
