Parma Public Library will have
new schedule for youth programs 2004

The Parma Public Library announces a new schedule for youth programs starting in January 2004. The new schedule will provide programs for children as young as one year old through middle school and high school youth.

On Mondays from 10:30 to 10:50 a.m. and on Thursdays from 11:30 to 11:50 a.m. there will be 20 minute story times for children 1 to 2 years old. On Mondays from 1 to 1:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m., 30 minute story times will take place for 3 to 5 year olds.

A 45 minute story time for children 6-7 years of age will take place on Wednesdays from 4:15 to 5 p.m. Starting on Friday, January 9, from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m., there will be an Every Other Friday Book Club for grades 3 to 6. An Anime Discussion Club for middle school and high school students who like anime, like to share what they know, and would like to help the librarian pick new and different anime for the library will be held on the second Tuesday of each month, starting January 13 and will run from 4 to 5 p.m.

A once a month Young Adult book club otherwise known as Pizza And Books meets on the first Saturday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. All middle school and high school students are welcome.
