Clothing donations needed

Volunteers of America (VOA) needs donations of used clothing to help support those in need.

VOA uses donated clothing to stock its emergency clothing program, which provides clothing to homeless individuals and families, and other people in crisis.

VOA also sells donated clothing in its Retail Centers. Proceeds from Retail Centers support the human service programs offered by Volunteers of America, including housing and support service for the homeless, child care and educational programs for disadvantaged children, drug and alcohol recovery programs, and crisis assistance for individuals and families in need.

In addition to gently used clothing, Volunteers of America accepts clothes that are ripped, torn, or stained since damaged clothing can be recycled and kept out of area landfills.

Drop off donations of used clothing and household items to Volunteers of America's Retail Center located at 4750 Lake Road in the Brockport Corners Mall.
