ALBION

•Pritt, Birthel A., "Berthie," 66, died February 11, 2004 at her home. Survived by her longtime companion Harry Drake; two daughters, Nina (Ken Cone) Pritt of Lyndonville, and Teresa (Jeff) Atwell of Albion; four grandchildren, Seth, Felicia, and Sean Luce, Jared Atwell; several nieces, nephews; former son-in-law, Aaron Luce of Lyndonville. She was predeceased by her husband Earl Pritt.

Funeral Services were held February 14 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.


BERGEN

•Spencer, Virginia L., Age 65, died February 11, 2004. Beloved wife of Jack Spencer of Bergen. Loving mother of Mike (Lisa) Warner of Akron, Gregory (Andrea) Warner of Lake Worth, Florida, John (Cherie) Spencer of Depew, David (Yvonne) Spencer of Newark, Kathleen (Michael) Yacos of Lockport and Barbara Castiglione of Depew; sister of Charles (Onie) Hugan of Ohio, Barbara (Daniel) Newcomb of Perrysburg; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

BROCKPORT

•Cond, Thomas J., Suddenly on Wednesday, February 11, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Gidget; his children, TJ and Chelsea; his parents, Joe and Elsia; brothers and sisters, Vicki Cond, George (Anna) Cond, Denise (Chris) Whitcond, Tim (Elaine) Cond, Sharon Powers, Linda Shuldes; father, Jeffrey (Sharon) Muir; half brothers and sisters, Chris, Lauren and Nick Muir; paternal grandmother, Sophia Fogg; paternal grandparents, Tom and Evelyn Muir; mother-in-law, Anita Ashton; sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Craig Ginsberg; sister-in-law, Erica Ashton; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service was held February 18 at the First Baptist Church of Brockport. Spring interment, Lake View Cemetery. Contributions can be made to TJ and Chelsea Educational Fund c/o Gidget Cond, 4289 Brickschool House Road, Hamlin 14464.


•Goosley, John Jr., On February 14, 2004, after a brief illness, at age 78. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Alice (Jezeorowski); son, John C.; daughter, Mary Ann; son, Christopher; daughter, Susan (Paul) Henshaw; grandchildren, Sean, Brandon, Mitchell and Tyler. John was a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus, an active member of the Church of the Nativity BVM. John retired from SUNY Brockport in 1990.

A Funeral Mass was said February 20 at the Church of the Nativity, Brockport. Donations can be made to Brockport Volunteer Fire Department, Lakeside Foundation or the Church of the Nativity BVM in his memory.


•McCann, Earl C., On February 11, 2004. He is predeceased by his wife, Roberta Schmeer. Survived by his children, Thomas (Linda), Steven (Mary), James (Kathy), Judy (Dick) Kupterschmid; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Mack; brother, James (Cathy); and 30+ year companion, Helen Wilkson. Earl was a WWII Veteran.

Private Funeral Services and interment were held.


•Mumpton, Frederick A., PhD. On February 10, 2004 at the age of 71. Survived by his beloved wife, Ardeth Mumpton; his children, Sheila (Kevin Koss) Mumpton of Conesus, Mark (Kathy Parlato) Mumpton of Greece, Eric (Patricia Carney) of Altmar, Lisa Mumpton of Aurora, Colorado and Daniel Mumpton of Syracuse; grandchildren, Ian, Reily, Danielle, Christopher and Margaret; sister, Marion (Keith) Balch of Gloversville; two nieces and a nephew.

Fred was a graduate of St. Lawrence University and Pennsylvania State University where he received his PhD. He retired from Brockport State University as Professor of Earth Sciences. Resident of the town of Clarkson since 1969.

Funeral Services were held February 13 at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Spring interment. Donations can be made to American Diabetes Association in his memory.


•Wheeler, Wallace T., On Thursday, February 12, 2004 at the age of 80. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Wendy (Gare); two sons, Jon (Nancy) and Kristopher; his daughter, Susan Wheeler; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his sister-in-law, Bonnie Kingsley; two nieces and two grandnephews; and Peter III. Wally was a Chiropractor in Brockport for 48 years.

Funeral and interment were held at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to Lakeside Beikirch Care Center.


HOLLEY

•Fox, Angeline L. (Bell), February 14, 2004. Originally from Brockville, NY. Predeceased by husband, Burt. Survived by her sister, Rose M. Bell; two children, Ann MacDonald and Edward (Sally) Fox; four grandchildren, Debra Luce, Sherri (Jim) Raab, Kristen and Lisa Fox; two great-grandsons, Jake Robinson and Dylan Brooks; many kind and compassionate friends.

A Funeral Service was held at the convenience of the family. Interment, Garland Cemetery, Clarkson.


KENDALL

•Rushbrook, Eunice R., 71, died February 17, 2004 at the Orleans County Nursing Home following a long illness. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1975. She is survived by three sons, David Rushbrook, Dale Rushbrook, both of Kendall, Lynn (Sue) Rushbrook of Albion; one daughter, Annette (Larry) Walls of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Eric Mullins of Spencer-port, Bill Mullins of Rochester, Steve Mullins of Texas; one great grandson, Nicholas Mullins of Rochester; two brothers, Roger (Fran) Banker of Nunda; Irving (Velma) Banker of Albion; four sisters, Hope Telovsky of Albion, Grace (Wayne) Miers of Florida, Lillian Rowley of Albion, Louise Apps of Minnesota; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by a sister, Phyllis.

Funeral Services were held February 19 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. Interment will be in West Kendall Cemetery in the spring. Memorial contri-butions can be made to the Kendall Ambulance.


NORTH CHILI

•Rodrigues, Ronald, "The Pod," February 12, 2004. Survived by his daughter, Amy Rodrigues; parents Manuel and Grace Rodrigues; brother, Manuel (Annette) Rodrigues; step-children, David and Lisa Preston; Darlene Preston, Joanne Rodrigues; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Mass was held February 14 at Holy Name Church. Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 20 Ramona Street, Rochester, NY 14613 in his memory.
