Holley Library web page goes live

The Community Free Library in Holley now offers the community its new web page. Funding for this project has been provided by the Curtis Foundation of Orleans County. This group has been helping many organizations since 1972. The web page was designed and will be maintained by the Scenic View Web Company in Hilton.

This site is one of the first "stand alone" library web pages in the local area, according to Library Director Claire Franck. From the home page are links to local schools, Holley and Kendall; and towns, Clarendon, Kendall and Murray; and the Village of Holley. Access is also available to various government sites such as the Orleans County Legislature, New York State Assembly and Senate, and the federal government.

Among the many features of the web site is the "What's New?" section. This is an up-to-date listing of new materials and upcoming programs such as the genealogy program, "Je Me Souviens - Remembering our Ancestors" scheduled for this spring. The complete program guide to this year's New York State Summer Reading Program will also be available.

Check out the new site at www.holleylibrary.org. The library is located at 86 Public Square in the Village of Holley.
