Kendall Students of the Month honored

Kendall Jr./Sr. High School initiated a Student of the Month program to honor those students in each grade level who demonstrate outstanding initiative. Students are selected based on whether they: are considerate of others' feelings; adhere to school rules; earn average or above average grades; demonstrate effort in school assignments; present an honest and trustworthy attitude; are helpful to teachers and other students; are cooperative and dependable; maintain above average attendance; and exhibit a positive attitude toward school.

Each month, the Students of the Month and their parents are invited to the Board of Education meeting for a brief presentation to recognize the students' achievements.

The Student of the Month program was created to inspire exemplary initiative and citizenship in other students.
