National expert to speak on financing private education

Families considering private education for their children are invited to attend a free seminar titled, "From Kindergarten to College: How to Provide Your Child with the Best Education Possible." The seminar will be held March 10 at 7 p.m. at the RIT Inn and Conference Center and is open to the public.

The keynote speaker will be Mark J. Mitchell, vice president for Financial Aid Services at the National Association of Independent Schools. Mitchell is a frequent presenter at local, state, regional and national conferences on school financial aid issues and practices. He has also authored articles and chapters on education financing strategies in magazines and books.

The Greater Rochester Association of Private Schools, an organization of private schools representing preschool through twelfth grade, hosts the conference.
