Curves supports communities with food drive

Curves, 30 Minute Fitness and Weight Loss Center, will be joining the Curves International Inc. "Food for Friends" food drive to benefit local food banks.

Last year, the Curves food drive collected over 4,250,000 pounds of food for local communities across the nation.

Anyone joining Curves the week of March 8 can bring a bag of groceries and have the normal service fee waived. Anyone may drop off non-perishable food items at Curves Monday through Friday during business hours.

"The Food For Friends promotion allows us, the franchises, to help more women reach their fitness goals, while giving back to the community simultaneously," Kathy Prince, the owner of the Brockport club, Sharon Brockman of the Spencerport club and Sharon DeGregorio, the owner of Hilton said.

With almost 7,000 locations, Curves is the world's largest fitness franchise and the fastest growing franchise in history. Currently, over two million women use the sites for fitness and weight loss goals every day.

The area curves are located at 3670 Lake Road, Suite 4, Brockport, 34 Slayton Avenue, Spencerport and 109 Lake Avenue (behind NAPA), Hilton.
