ALBION

•Luczak, Fred J., 79, died March 1, 2004 at Medina Memorial Hospital. He was in the U.S. Navy, Air Force and then retired from the Marine Corps after 20 years, where he served in WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars. He is survived by his sister Gloria Kuhn of Albion; two nephews, Edward Luczak of Albion and John Kuhn of Kansas; five nieces, Barbara Szklany of Albion, Frances Spohr of Albion, Diane Bailey of Arizona, Gloria Lonnen of Albion, Linda Tibbits of Albion.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said March 4 at St. Joseph's Church with military honors following. Interment in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Orleans Joint Veterans Council, 13996 Rt. 31 W, Albion, in his memory.


BROCKPORT

•Leverenz, Harold A., February 29, 2004, age 79. Predeceased by his son, Robert. Survived by his wife, Marjorie; children, Kathleen (Richard) Parthenais, Harold (Linda) Leverenz Jr., Stewart (Marcia) Leverenz, Ronald Leverenz, Stephanie Schuchart, Catherine (Charles) Brownell, Rodney (Rebecca) Potter, Lisa (Robert) Haag, Darryl Fulton, Dean (Denise) Fulton; sister, Mable Gray; brother, Milton Leverenz; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

•Nesbitt, Willard J., March 1, 2004, age 94. Pre-deceased by his wife, Mildred, sister, Marion. Survived by his children, Nancy (Merritt) Ackles, James (Pamela) Nesbitt; sister-in-law, Leona Nesbitt; grand-children Kim Shoemaker, Kelly (Greg) Fisher, Jeffrey (Laurie) Ackles, Troy Nesbitt, Matthew (Renny) Nesbitt; great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Emily, Rachel, Patrick, Liam, Reese; many nieces and nephews.

•Wieczorek, Joseph B. SMSGT Retired Air Force, March 1, 2004, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Loretta; his children, Joel (Linda) and Paul (Marcia); grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Kathryn and AJ; several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said March 4 at the Church of the Nativity, Brockport. Spring interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Church of The Nativity BVM, Brockport in his memory.


CHURCHVILLE

•Eckhardt, Alice L., February 23, 2004. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Bruce; daughter, Edythe (Charles) Becker; grandchildren, Scott (Sandra) Becker, Nancy (Joseph) Esparraguera and Carol Ann (Francis) Schreiner; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Bruce, Max and Anais; and nephew, Tom Athanas. Alice was a retiree of the Stromberg Carlson Company.

Services and Inurnment were held privately. Contributions in her memory can be made to the American Heart Association.


•Koch, William G. Jr. (Cook), February 28, 2004 at age 83. He was predeceased by his brothers, Philip and Franklin Koch. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elaine (DiGiacomo) Koch; brother Harold (Helen) Koch; sister-in-law, Marcella Koch; brother-in-law, Carmen (Lily) DiGiacomo; great nieces; a great nephew and many cousins. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company, a member of the Country Twirlers and Circulators Square Dance Clubs, SCOR, Harvey C. Noone American Legion Post #954 and the Eighth Air Force Historical Society. A life member of Chili Memorial VFW Post #412 and a Charter Member of the WWII Memorial Society.

A Funeral Mass was said March 4 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Churchville. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Churchville Fire Department Ambulance, St. Vincent DePaul Church or Lakeside Beikirch Care Center in his memory.

•Culhane, Daniel L., 70, died February 23, 2004 in New Port Richey, Florida.

•Quill, William A. Sr., Age 54, died suddenly, February 27, 2004. Bill was a former president and life member of the Clarendon Fire Company. He was also a former employee of Keeler Construction Company and the Town of Clarendon Highway Department. He is survived by his wife, Loleta; children, Sharon (Chris) Kuhn of Kendall, Barbara (Vance) Sipult of Burt, William (Shannon) Quill Jr. of Clarendon; grandchildren, Laura Sipult, Kendra Quill, Mason and Ethan Kuhn; brothers, Daniel Jr. of Clarendon, Gary of Rochester, Larry (Marion) of Brockport; sisters, Dannette Sevor of Albion, Sharon (Skip) Quill-Hoy of Murray, Josephine Grathouse of Brockport; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

•Robinson, John S. "Jack," March 1, 2004, age 67. •Mignano, John F., Age 77, died February 26, 2004, WWII Army Vet. Survived by wife, Ruth; son, John A. (Janet) Mignano of Holley; daughter, Joanne Maid of Albion; two grandchildren, Anthony Mignano of Holley, Matthew Maid of East Aurora; two brothers, Sullivan "Tillie" (Eloise) Mignano of Holley, Dominic (Mary Ann) Mignano of Albion; three sisters, Virginia "Tootsie" Ward of Holley, Frances Schiavone of Holley, Dina (Richard) Campbell of Rochester; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by four brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services were held February 29 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Spring interment in Hillside Cemetery with military honors. Memorials can be made to the American Legion Jewell Buckman Post #529, 5 Wright Street, Holley.


SPENCERPORT

•Harrison, Judith L., Thursday, February 26, 2004 at age 65. She was predeceased by her husband, Alan W. Harrison. She is survived by her children Michael, Terry (Barbara) and Timothy (Karen) Harrison; her grandchildren, Bryan, Tiffany, Hilary, Shannon and Alex; her brother Robert (Audrey) Post; several nieces and nephews. Judy was a member of the Hamlin Senior Center and the G.W.R.R.A.

•Lavell, Michael E. "Ed," died February 29, 2004 at age 82, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruth (Kofsky) Lavell; sons, Brian (Janet) Lavell and Andrew Lavell; daughters, Carol (Michael) Burke and Susan (Peter) Decker; grandchildren, Emily Lavell, Jennifer, Peter, Christopher and Michelle Burke, Andrew and Patrick Decker; brothers, Leonard (Joan) Lavell and Franklin Lavell; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Gerald and Gordon Lavell and sister Hazel Hicks. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak, a member of the Knights of Columbus, was a Cub Master with the Boy Scouts of America and he loved to play his fiddle.
