Chili sailor on hand to meet The Breeze - JO2 Mark Richardson of Chili, while on active duty with the Navy Reserve in Hawaii, was on hand to greet the Spirit of Ontario as it entered Honolulu Harbor March 7. Richardson, the web manager for Channel 10, NBC News in Rochester, was invited aboard and was given a tour of Spirit of Ontario, a massive 284 feet long and five stories high. Richardson said the captain and crew were very nice and even let him sit up on the bridge in the captain's chair. "The bridge was like being on the bridge of "Star Ship Enterprise," Richardson said. This was an added surprise after being sent to Hawaii and being stationed at Pearl Harbor. "My Dad has a lot to talk about when he gets home," Richardson's son, Ryan, said.
