St. Paul Cheerleaders
School celebrates Lutheran School Month

St. Paul Lutheran School in Hilton, which houses a preschool, full and half-day kindergarten, and grades 1 through 8, has served the community for almost 50 years. March is the month designated to celebrate Lutheran Schools and the St. Paul staff members and students have planned numerous activities and events to celebrate. Events include Parent Day, a talent show, special music by the band, chorus, bell choir, and voice students, a performance by the Irish Dancers, and "spirit" fun days, planned by the student council. (The council has student representatives from kindergarten through eighth grade).

The children will also be doing special service projects. St. Paul has sponsored a Central American child named Juan for many years. Weekly chapel offerings are given to such worthwhile projects as Habitat for Humanity, Open Door Mission, Lutheran World Relief and local food cupboards.

In addition, a Kindergarten Informational Meeting for parents whose students are already enrolled, as well as for the community in general, will take place on Monday evening, March 22 at 7 p.m.
