Mansfield University Concert Choir
to perform in Spencerport

The Mansfield University Concert Choir, under the direction of Peggy Dettwiler, will perform at the First Congregational Church, 65 Church Street in Spencerport on Wednesday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m.

The program will include a wide variety of works from the Renaissance to the 20th Century and genres ranging from motets to spirituals.

Included in the program will be performances by The Mansfieldians, a 12-voice auditioned chamber and vocal jazz ensemble, directed by Dettwiler and Sheryl Monkelien.

The concert choir is a highly select ensemble of 48 musicians. While most of the members in the ensemble are primarily undergraduate music majors, membership is open to all students at the university through an audition process.

The concert is free and open to the public.
