Chili senior programs

Senior Center fundraiser - Chili Senior Center is selling the Passport to Savings book for the Spirit of Ontario fast ferry. The book, which includes numerous discounts for Rochester and Toronto, may be purchased for $25. The boarding pass, which is included in the book, can be redeemed for $25 off any trip fare (or $28 off an adult foot passenger fare). Available to the entire community. Tulips and Tea - trip to the Lamberton Conservatory in Highland Park on Wednesday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Following the spring flower display, lunch and tea at the Mulberry Mill $12 per person. To register, stop by the senior center at 3235 Chili Avenue.

Pancake Breakfast - Tuesday, April 20 at 9 a.m. $5 (seniors age 55+) Advanced registration is required by April 15. For information, contact the center at 889-6185.

Mansions and Millionaires - a Rochester history presentation on Thursday, April 22 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. discusses the history of the mansions of Rochester and the socially elite, rich and famous who built and lived in these mansions. $2 per person. To register, contact the senior center at 3235 Chili Avenue, 889-6185.

Mystery Trip - Wednesday, May 5 from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. $40 for town residents age 55 and over. For information call 889-6185.

The Philadelphia "Mummers" in Elmira - Monday, June 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The trip includes transportation via a deluxe motorcoach; a sit-down luncheon at the historic Pierce's 1894 Restaurant, and admission to the matinee performance of the Ferko String Band featuring the elaborate costumes, music and songs of "The Mummers." Fast food stop (on your own) en route home. Anyone in need of assistance must sign up with a senior companion. The cost is $55 for residents (age 55+). Registration for town residents begins Wednesday, April 7. Non-residents can register (space permitting) beginning May 7. Call 889-6185 for details.
