Kendall board member will be elected to five-year term

The candidate receiving the highest number of votes in the Kendall Board of Education election will serve a five-year term of office, not a three-year term, commencing July 1, 2004 to fill the expired term of Catherine Flaherty.

Any person interested in running for the vacancy on the Kendall Central School District Board of Education must submit the proper petition on or before April 19. Petitions are available in the Kendall District Office or by calling 659-2741. The petition must be signed by at least 25 qualified voters of the Kendall Central School District and may be filed with Sherry Madison, district clerk, in the District Office any time between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on any business day through April 19.
