Kendall schools receive NY State Assembly grant

Through the efforts of Assemblyman Charles Nesbitt and Senator George Maziarz, the Kendall Central School District has been awarded a grant in the amount of $40,000 to be used for the purchase of computer equipment. The grant will help the district comply with period-by-period attendance accountability mandates.

Securing the grant allows for each teacher workstation at the high school to have a networked computer with software that will provide for period-by-period attendance taking. In addition, the grant will fund the purchase of the Winschool Program, which is used for grading, as well as other school related computer programs.

This is the second technology grant Kendall has received. In 2003, Senator Maziarz sponsored a $40,000 grant to provide Kendall Elementary School with computers and related equipment.
