Pop and Rock Music Concert
at Hilton High School benefits music program

The community is invited to a special concert on Friday, May 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hilton High School auditorium, 400 East Avenue, Hilton, featuring the ten-piece professional band, the Half Ton Horns. The group includes Hilton High School Marching Band Director, Jared Streiff, among other music professionals and it will be donating their time as a benefit for the high school program.

The band's influences are the music of Earth, Wind and Fire, Tower of Power, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Average White Band, and other musical groups.

The Half Ton Horns is composed of a five-piece horn section consisting of two tenor saxophones, a baritone saxophone, and two trumpets, full rhythm section, and lead vocals. They play mostly funk, soul, dance and party music as well as several rock and roll favorites and ballads.
