Students recognized for Doing the Right Thing

Two Brockport students were among 10 students from the Rochester area to be the March winners in the "Do The Right Thing" Program, sponsored in part by the Rochester Police Department. Adrianna Weed, a first-grader at Ginther, was nominated by her mother for donating 13 inches of her hair to the Locks of Love Foundation to make wigs for cancer patients. Geoffrey Jamele, a fourth-grader at the Hill School was nominated by his mother for his maturity and caring about others and their feelings.
