•Austin, Lorraine N., died May 10, 2004, in Lockport Memorial Hospital. Survived by her son, Dale Austin; grandmother of Daniel Austin, Amy (Paul) Busch, Wendy (Aaron) Mandarano, Andrew (Vicky) Austin and Aaron Austin; great-grandmother of Austin Mandarano; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Arnold; son, Stephen; brother, Harry Newcomb.

BERGEN

Gilbert, James L. Sr., on May 13, 2004, age 81, in Lillian, Alabama (formerly of Bergen) after a brief illness. Survived by wife Diane (Kuhn); son, James (Judy) Gilbert Jr. of Bergen; daughters, Sharon (Roger) Dilcher and Janice Gilbert of Bergen and Major Robin Gilbert of Bethel, Maine; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Edward Gilbert of Spencerport; sisters, Selma Henchen of Rochester and Dorothy Wheeler of Bergen; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Charles and Bertha (Faddis) Gilbert; brothers, Charles and Richard Gilbert and sister, Helen Whitters. Mr. Gilbert was a Pacific World War II Veterans and was self-employed.

Military graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Barrancas Naval Base in Pensacola, Florida. Memorials can be made to Mary Cariola Children's Center, 1000 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, New York 14620.


BROCKPORT

•Ebbs, Marion R. (Youngs), age 76, died May 12, 2004 following a short illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brockport and a 20 year employee of General Electric in Brockport. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles; daughters, Nancy (George) Luce of Brockport, Betty (Michael) Legan of Brockport, Karen (Richard) Avery of Brockport, Susane and the late Gerald Mulhern of Greece; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; nine siblings; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by son John Ebbs, grandson Charles R. Avery.

Funeral Services were held May 17 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, Holley. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.


•Coller, Florence F., On February 3, 2004. Predeceased by her husband, Arthur. She is survived by her sons, Raymond (Ellen), Dr. John (Patricia); six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Margaret (Alex) Cannioto; several nieces and nephews. Florence was the Librarian at the Seymour Library in Brockport for more than 35 years.

A Memorial Service will be held May 28, 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church (at the corner of State Street and Main Street, Brockport). Contributions can be made to Seymour Library, 161 East Avenue, Brockport 14420.


CHURCHVILLE

•Aradine, Henry A., May 11, 2004, age 78. He resided in Churchville throughout his entire life. He is survived by his devoted wife, Peggy of 52 years; two sons, Craig Aradine (Carol) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Russell Aradine (YongYi) of Madison, Alabama; and one daughter, Rebecca Sherwood (Thomas) of Horseheads; five grandchildren, Jennifer Bates, Elizabeth and Sharon Aradine, Bridget and Colin Sherwood; great granddaughter, Jaylenn Bates. He is also survived by his brother, Paul Aradine of Rochester (formerly Churchville); brother-in-law Robert Goodwin of Rochester; nephews and nieces.

A Memorial Service was held May 14 at the First Baptist Church in Chili. Contributions can be made to First Baptist Church in Chili or the Genesee Country Village and Museum in Mumford in his memory.


•Miller, James L., May 13, 2004 at age 61 after a long period of declining health. James was born April 12, 1943 in Hudson, New York. He was the son of Wilbur A. and Elizabeth A. Miller. He was predeceased by his fa-ther and his sister Brenda. He is survived by his mother and his two children, Christopher (Rosina) Miller of Churchville, and Katherine (Albert) Reuther of May-nard, Massachusetts. He served as a Churchville Village Trustee from 1984 until 1989, was a former member of the Churchville Volunteer Fire Department and was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.

A Memorial Service was held May 19 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Churchville. Interment will be in Hudson, NY. Donations can be made to the Churchville Volunteer Fire Department in his memory.


CLARKSON

•Nersinger, Richard W., Jr., May 9, 2004, age 82. Predeceased by wife, Evelyn; son, Ernie; granddaughter, Kristi Nersinger; brothers, Ross and Kenneth. Survived by children, Lorelei (Andrew) Ciciotti, Brian, Judy and Ricki (Penny) Nersinger; brothers, Theodore (Shirley) and Lawrence (Eva) Nersinger; sisters, Joan (Bernard) Salber, Kay Spector and Eleanor Sullivan; daughter-in-law, Orvette Nersinger; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services were held at the convenience of the family.


SPENCERPORT

•Braddock-Bennett, Roseita A., On May 15, 2004, age 60. She is survived by her husband, Ronald F.; one son, Randy Braddock; one daughter, Renee Uderitz; her father, Ronald Thompson; three sisters, Rhonda Rittenhouse, Romona (Paul) Rathbun, Roxanne (Doug) Morsch; several nieces.

•Skinner, Doris R. (Kulzer), May 11, 2004 at age 77. She is survived by her sons, Gerald (Donna) Skinner, James (Melinda) Skinner and John Skinner; her grand-children, Chad Skinner, Allison, Chris, Amy and Laura Skinner; several nieces and nephews.
