Enter the "Take Me Out to the Ballgame"
reading contest at the Parma Public Library

Students in grades K-12 can enter the "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" reading contest and be in the running for a great grand prize.

The grand prize winner's name will be drawn randomly the week of August 9 from all entries submitted county-wide. The winner will receive airfare, hotel and tickets for two people (winner and parent or guardian) to a Minnesota Twins game. A separate Fire Prize winner will receive the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the Red Wings home game on August 21, limo service to and from the game and dinner at Jillian's restaurant.

One Runner-up from each library will also be selected to win free tickets to the August 21 Red Wings game. The contest, sponsored by Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP, runs through July 31 and is open to kids in grades K-12 as of June 1, 2004. For every age appropriate book read, the reader is allowed to submit an entry form for the contest. The more books read, the more chances to win. Entry blanks are available at the Parma Public Library.
