Lakeside Foundation Board of Directors elects new members

Lakeside Foundation elected three new members to its Board of Directors. At the Foundation's May Board meeting, John Heise, Nat O. Lester, III, and Teresa L. Werth were elected to each serve a three year term.

John Heise, a long time resident of Holley, recently retired as an administrator for the Holley Central School District, where he served as elementary principal, high school principal and director of instruction and special programs. Heise is an active member of the Holley Rotary Club, having served as president three times, and currently serving as assistant governor for District 7090. He is also serving as a trustee for the Holley Community Free Library and a trustee for the Village of Holley. He has served five years as a trustee for NIOGA Library System and on the Board of Directors for the Orleans County ARC. Heise was selected as "Best Friend" for the Orleans County ARC.

Nat Lester is a third generation business owner with a law practice and residence in Brockport. He is the supervisor for the Town of Sweden, a member of the Nativity Church and youth basketball coach. Lester has served as the former Sweden Town Justice and former Chairman BCS Joint Recreation Committee. He is a member of the Monroe County Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.

Teresa Werth, a resident of Spencerport, is the director of public information for the West Irondequoit Central Schools. Werth has been involved with many charitable organizations serving on the Kirkhaven Board of Directors, and as past president of Kirkhaven Foundation. Werth co-chaired "Christopher's Challenge" and served as publicity chair of the "Windows Project." Her professional associations include the National School Public Relations Association, past president of the Rochester Chapter of the New York School Public Relations Association and the Genesee Valley Professional School Communicators.
