Bartalo honored with Paul Harris Award

Donald Bartalo, recipient of a Paul Harris Award donated by his brother-in-law Cort Fowler, was described as an especially deserving honoree. Former president of the Dansville Rotary Club and president of the Genesee Valley Rotary Camp for over 20 years, Bartalo has worked to help children most of his life. He was a teacher, principal and a superintendent of schools, who continues to be a model for the public serving individual. Paul Harris Awards, named after the founder of Rotary International, represent a contribution of $1,000 to the Rotary International Foundation. The foundation supports projects all over the world that are designed to help better individual lives.
