Ginther School students beautify
their garden

In a courtyard inside Brockport's Ginther Elementary lies a secret garden of sorts, a serene place with a pond and a garden where students like to go to learn and relax. Kindergarten students in Tracy Robb's and Geri Rightmyer's classes at the Brockport Ginther School recently took their learning outside the classroom and helped beautify their special place. They learned about pond life and caring for a garden and were joined by their parents and grandparents. Above, Physical Education teacher Kristy Sherman helps kindergartener Nathan D'Andrea skim the top of the pond while other students look on and work around the courtyard.
