•Azzolina, Martha E., July 5, 2004. Survived by her daughter, Martha Louise Azzolina; son, James (Elaine) Azzolina; three granddaughters, Sheri, Shelly and Angela; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A Funeral Service, was held July 7 at Atonement Lutheran Church. Interment, Fairfield Cemetery, Spencerport.


ALBION

•Culbert, Richard E., age 59, died July 4, 2004 at his home after a long illness. Survived by two children, Crystal (Kevin) Freitag of Kendall and James Culbert of Albion; two grandchildren, Coralee and Keaton Freitag of Kendall; brother, Mark Culbert of Hopewell; sisters, Carolyn Culbert of Rochester, Debbie McNaugaton of Michigan; brother-in-law, Roger Southwell of Medina; ex-wife Donna Culbert of Albion; nieces, nephews and many friends. He is predeceased by a brother, David Culbert and sister, Patricia Southwell.

Funeral Services were held July 8 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. Interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the family.


BROCKPORT

•Brown, Marian E., on June 30, 2004 at the age of 85. She is survived by her cousin, Harriet Redman of New Mexico, and good friends, Ed and Marie Bolling.

A Graveside Ceremony was held July 2 at Garland Cemetery.


HAMLIN

Nickles, Edward M., July 4, 2004, age 67. Survived by his wife, Lois; children, Tim Nickles, Bill (Kathie) Nickles, Tom (Stephanie) Nickles, Edward W. Nickles; sister, Jo (Jim) Kehrer; brothers, Robert (Shirley) and Richard (Sandy) Nickles; many nieces and nephews.

Services were held at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to American Heart Associa-tion in his memory.


NORTH CHILI

•O'Toole, Richard L., Suddenly, in Athens, Greece, June 25, 2004. Predeceased by his father Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters, Kristin (Dean) Franklin, and Karyn (Phil) Voorhees; his mother, Olga; brother, Thomas O'Toole; his sister, Elizabeth (Anton) Yablonicky, Joan (Donald) Dalpe; beloved grandson, Aidan; sister-in-law, Gail Smorol; mother-in-law, Dorothy Wisniewski; many nieces and nephews.

•Pretko, Edward J. Sr., July 3, 2004 at age 69 after a courageous battle with mesothelioma cancer. Pre-deceased by two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Anne Pretko; his chil-dren Marilyn (Muhammad Shaaban) Simpatico, Edward J. (Debra) Pretko Jr. and Jennifer (Brian) Adams; his grandchildren, Danielle and Michael Simpatico, James, Justin and Katie Pretko, Jonathan and Emily Laurin-Adams; his great granddaughter DeAnna Pretko; brothers Walter (Anne), Raymond (Betty) and Joseph (Rosalie) Pretko; sisters Helen (John) Soha and Dorothy Pretko; many nieces, nephews and loving friends, especially Ron and Barb McKenna. Ed was a member of the United States Marine Corps.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated July 7 at St. Christopher's Church, North Chili. Interment, Fairfield Cemetery, Spencerport. Donations can be directed to Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, 1609 Garden Street, Santa Barbara, California 93101 in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Giardino, Gary J., July 1, 2004, age 50. Predeceased by his mother, Adelaide. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; and children, Gina, Michael, David, and Robert (Rachael) Verstraten; father, Anthony Sr.; brothers, David (Theresa), Anthony (Janice); and sister, Cindy (Steve) Manganaro; two grandchildren, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Helen Monaghan; sisters-in-law, Sharon (John) Zenkel, Lynda (David) O'Connor; and best friends, Richard Abbott and Paul Giardino.

Janes, Enos B., Jr., July 7, 2004 at age 83. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy; sons, Chuck (Donna) and Robert (Deborah) Janes; grandchildren, Sarah (Joshua) Homer, Brian, Matthew and Benjamin Janes; great grandson, Seth Homer; sisters, Annie (Ray) Towle, Alta Ekwell and Pat Welter; many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held July 10 at the Greece Baptist Church. Interment at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made to Spencerport Lions Club, Greece Baptist Church or Boy Scouts of America Otetiana Council.


King, Robert Lee, of Spencerport. Died July 1, 2004 after a long illness. He is predeceased by his brother, David King, and his sister, Rosalee King. He leaves a wonderful wife of 44 years, Julia King; six children, Annie (Alfred) Wilder, Donnall (Stephanie) King, David (Caryne) King, Rose (Emanuel) Hammonds, Judy King and Cedgrine Holmes; brothers, Roosevelt, Mitchell and Robert King Jr.; sisters, Elnora, Willeen, Ruthellen, Marylee and Maereen King; stepmother, Irene King. He leaves 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; a special sister-in-law, Rosie King.

A Funeral Service was held July 6 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, Greece. Interment, private.
