•Prohaska, Helen L., died July 12, 2004, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, age 85. Predeceased by husband Norman in 1997. Survived by son, Joseph P. (Denise) Prohaska, Brockport; sister, Ruth O. Krull, Fort Wayne, Indiana; grandsons, Jeffrey and Michael Prohaska of Brockport; several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid Society. Memorials can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda, NY or the American Cancer Society.


ALBION

•Davis, Nathaniel L., of Albion, formerly of Georgia, died July 13, 2004 after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his loving wife, Leona (Bell) Davis of Albion; their children, Ronnie (Shelly) Davis of Rochester, Dorothy (Levi) Spikes of Spencerport, Julie (George) McCool of Rochester, Elijih (Connie) Robinson of Tallahassee, Florida, Juil and Dorothy Robinson also of Tallahassee, Florida; a sister, Sally B. Davis of Washington, D. C.; three brothers Charles (May) Wilder of Winter Garden, Florida, Willie (Annie Merle) Davis of Bambridge, Georgia, and Felix (Annette) Hatden of Maryland; nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by three sisters, a nephew and two nieces.

Funeral Services were held July 20 at the Memorial AME Zion Church, Rochester. Burial in Mount Albion Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the charity of one's choice.


BERGEN

•Wight, Wallace G., age 59, of Barefoot Bay, Florida formerly of Bergen, died July 18, 2004 in Palm Bay Hospital, Palm Bay, Florida. He was the husband of Donna Griswold Wight. Born in Alexander, he retired in 2000 from Pfaudler Company in Rochester.

Funeral Services were held July 24 at Marley Funeral Home, Attica.


GREECE

•Unterborn, Iva L. "Gram," July 12, 2004, age 92. Survived by her daughters, Audrie Gillette, Nancy Worden; grandchildren, Debbie Gillette, Darren (Louise) Gillette, Stephen Worden, Heather (Brian) Sackrider; great-grandchildren, Michael, Jessenia, Ashley, Holly, Brittany, Ben, Jordan, Natalie, Jordan, Kelly, Justin; sister, Erma Skuce; many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service was held July 17 at Clarkson Union Cemetery, Hamlin. Contributions can be made to St. Paul's New Sanctuary Fund in her memory.


HAMLIN

•Maar, Margaret F., Suddenly, July 19, 2004, age 84. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl and her son, Bruce. She is survived by her sons, Gerald (Sandy) and David (Mary) Maar; her grandchildren, Scott (Debby) Maar, Amy (Andy) Stoker, Holly Maar (Ted Sheehan), Patrick and Katie Maar; two great-grandchildren, Nathan and Natalie; her brother, Robert (Ruth) Freitag; daughter-in-law, Terry Watson; step-grandchildren, Gordon, Stephen, Lawrence and Christopher Brewley; sister-in-law, Grace Maar; two aunts, Veda Woodcook and Mildred Baker; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Margaret was a devoted member of St. John Lutheran Church and V.F.W. #6703 Ladies Auxiliary and Hamlin Seniors.

A Memorial Service was held July 25 at St. John Lutheran Church, Hamlin. Contributions can be made to St. John Handbell Fund or Hamlin Volunteer Ambu-lance in her memory. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery.


HOLLEY

•Persia, Albert A. "Berly," On July 16, 2004 at the age of 90 years. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Helen (Cole) Persia; children, Skip (Viola) Persia, Donald (Judy) Persia both of Hauppauge, Mary (Michael) Campbell of Kendall; brother Alfred Persia of New Hampshire; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.

A Funeral Service was held July 20 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, Inc., Holley. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations can be made to Hospice of Orleans County or Lakeside Memorial Hospital, Brockport in his memory.


•Sease, Charles R. "Bob," July 14, 2004, age 72. Survived by wife, Shelagh; children, Randy Sease, Donna (Jackie) Davis, Robby (Jeanette) Sease, Lisa (Tom) Keene, Sue Ann (Robert) LeHosit, Tom (Martha) Dougal; grandchildren, Samantha, Dusten, Stephnie, Justin, Carla; great-granddaughter, Kaitlen; several nieces and nephews.

•Syck, Clell, On July 16, 2004 at the age of 67. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy. Survived by three daughters, Brenda (William) Hilfiker Jr., Karen (Leonard) Clark and Judith Sprouse; two granddaughters; six grandsons and one great grandson; four brothers and four sisters; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held July 19 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Lake View Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Saltzgaber, Richard H., July 19, 2004 at age 83. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Anne (Alfonsetti) Saltzgaber; his daughters Elizabeth (Jeffery) Peters and Grace (Joseph) Griffee; his grandchildren, Megan, Andrew and Phillip; nephew Rev. Bruce Todd Brown of Memphis, Tennessee. Dick was a Rochester Products retiree and volunteered his time at the American Red Cross and Park Ridge Hospital.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated July 22 at St. Jude's Church. Interment Elmlawn Cemetery, Buffalo. Memorial donations can be made to the American Red Cross or the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in his memory.
