89.1 The Point announces 2004 football broadcast line-up

SUNY Brockport's radio station, WBSU 89.1 The Point will continue its tradition of broadcasting the live action of area high school and college football games.

The following games with George Avery and Eric Dolan broadcasting the live play-by-play and color action starting with pre-game at 6:45 p.m., can be heard live this season on 89.1 The Point: Friday, September 3, Greece Athena at Brockport; September 10, Webster Thomas at Batavia; September 17, Irondequoit at Hilton; September 24, Greece Arcadia at Batavia and October 8, Greece Athena at Spencerport.

The Point will also be broadcasting the live play-by-play action of the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagle Football team. The Golden Eagles ended last season ranked 20th in the nation. This year they will compete in the Atlantic Central Football Conference.

89.1 The Point will broadcast the following games: Saturday, September 4 at Cortland, time to be announced later; Saturday, September 11 at Salisbury; Saturday, September 18 at Apprentice; Saturday, September 25 at Frostburg; Saturday, October 9, St. John Fisher at 2 p.m.; Saturday, October 16, Ithaca; Saturday, October 23 at Wesley; Saturday, October 30, Rowan; Saturday, November 6, College of New Jersey and Saturday, November 13, Buffalo State. Game time is 1 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Chuck Wade and Brendan Cooper will be broadcasting all the live play-by-play and color action, starting 30 minutes before game time.
