Republican primary set in Clarendon for justice seat

A Republican primary will be held in the Town of Clarendon for registered voters on September 14, from noon until 9 p.m. for the position of town justice which is a four year term. The election districts will be consolidated and voting will take place at the Clarendon Town Hall, 16385 Church Street.

Voter registrations must be received in person or postmarked no later than August 20 to be eligible to vote in the primary election. Notice of a change of address from registered voters must be received by the board of elections by August 25, so their address change can be processed.

September 7 is the last day for registered voters desiring an absentee ballot for the primary elections. Absentee ballot applications can be obtained from the board of elections by calling 589-3222 or 589-3270 or coming to the office located at the Orleans County Administration Building, 14016 State Route 31, Albion.
