VerHulst, Mildred M., September 5, 2004. Predeceased by her loving husband, John J. VerHulst, and her grandsons, John and Steven Daniels. Survived by her beloved daughters, Jean Daniels and Janet Gallup; her grandsons, Jody (Dannette) Daniels, and Jason Gallup; great-grandchildren, Mikel and Jarren Daniels; several nieces and nephews. She was a veteran of WWII and a member of the Ferris Goodridge Post #330 American Legion, Spencerport. Millie dedicated many years of her life selling fruits of the earth.

A Funeral Mass was said September 10 at St. Lawrence Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Ceme-tery. Contributions can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1650 South Avenue, Suite 100, Rochester, NY 14620 or have masses offered in her memory.


ALBION

•Kates, Dawn M. (Minier), Age 64, August 29, 2004. Predeceased by husband, David Kates. Survived by her daughter, Linda (Matthew) Cole of Kingston, Ontario and her son, Dean Goddard of Las Vegas; also survived by brother, Lee (Meredith) Minier of Albion and by grandchildren, Christian, Hannah, Gabriel and Jude; also by one niece and three cousins, and many very close and special friends.

Schildt, Arthur J., Age 91, September 5, 2004. Predeceased by wife Loretta. Survived by children Garry (Brenda) Schildt of Albion, Carol (James) Taylor of Georgia and Deborah (Jack) Haskell of Rochester; sisters Mildred Baker of Millville and Vida Woodcook of Brockport; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held September 10 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Albion. Burial in Beechwood Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, Kendall or to Hospice of Orleans County in his memory.


HILTON

•Stothard, Mark, August 30, 2004 age 54 of Avoca, formerly of Hilton. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Ryan); his daughter, Jenna M.; several cousins and friends. He was the son of the late Lavergne and Eleanor Stothard.

A Memorial Service was held September 12 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Contributions can be made to COTA for Jenna or First Presbyterian Church of Albion in his memory.


HOLLEY

•Piedmont, Lucille E., age 100, died August 31, 2004 at the Crest Manor Nursing Home in Fairport. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Ronald) Pimm of Farmington; four grandchildren, Richard Smith, Theresa Barbier, Tom Scurrah, Lisa Conrad; four great-grandchildren, Rikki Smith, Michael Barbier, Sarah Barbier, Jake Scurrah; sister Adelyn Kaminke of Holley; brother Torino (Lorraine) Potote of Holley; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis; daughter Geraldine Scurrah; sisters, Nora Dunn, Amelia Potote, Jennie Hinton, Ella Ashworth; brothers Tony Potote and Frank Potote. Mrs. Piedmont was a member of St. Mary's Church in Holley and was also a member of S.L.I.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said September 4 at St. Mary's Church. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.


KENDALL

•Wroblewski, Matthew S. Jr., August 31, 2004, age 54. Predeceased by his father, Matthew Sr. Survived by his wife, Victoria; children, Matthew (Kerry) Wroblewski III, Sarah (John Carpenter) Wroblewski, Luke Wroblewski; mother, Lillian; sister, Mary Esther (Dawn Birch) Wroblewski; mother-in-law, Phyllis Massey; granddaughter, Mazie Carpenter; nieces, nephews and friends; dog Clyde. Matt was a Vietnam Veteran and Agent Orange claimed another one.

Funeral Services were held September 4 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Wilmont Cancer Center, Spina Bifida Association in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Finn, Colleen M., August 31, 2004. Predeceased by her parents, Raymond G. and Muriel A. Friscia; father-in-law, Edward J. Finn. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael C.; son, Shawn M. Finn; daughter, Heather M. Finn; brother, Raymond Mitchell (Tamara) Friscia; sisters, Melanie A. (Leonard) Ippolito and Cynthia R. (Alan) Shaw; many nieces and nephews. Colleen was an Alter Guild Member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

A Funeral Service was held September 4 at Trinity Episcopal Church. Interment, Cold Springs Cemetery, Lockport. Contributions can be made to the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester, 840 University Avenue, Rochester 14607 in her memory.


•Gilbert, Edward W., age 66, died September 7, 2004 at his home after a lengthy illness. He retired from Eastman Kodak Company after more than 30 years of service. Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Gilbert of Utrecht (Netherlands) and Glena (Stephen) Temple of Onalaska, Wisconsin; two sisters, Selma Henchen of Rochester and Dorothy Wheeler of Bergen; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Hallows Gilbert; three brothers, Charles Jr., James and Richard; and one sister, Helen.

Funeral Services were held September 11 at Fowler Funeral Home, Brockport. Private interment. Donations can be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory.
