Trapper training courses offered

A trapper training course is required for all persons seeking a first trapping license. Courses are not as numerous as other sportsmen training courses and therefore are harder to find. The following is a list of courses scheduled at this time. Courses scheduled outside the western Finger Lakes Region may refer to the NYSDEC webpage at http://www.dec.state.ny.us/website/dfwmr/sportsed/classlist.htm#Trap.

A change this year: This course will not qualify people to become nuisance wildlife control agents.
