Spencerport offering parenting course

The Family Support Center of the Spencerport Central School District is offering a six-session program on "Common Sense Parenting," a skills-based program that teaches parents practical and effective ways of increasing positive behavior in children and ways of providing appropriate alternative behaviors. Sessions will be offered Tuesday evenings, October 5 through November 9 at Wilson High School, Room 501.

Cost is $3 for the program plus $10 for the textbook. The instructor is Donna Rugh of the Mental Health Association. For information call the Continuing Education office at 349-5680 or the Family Support Center at 349-5156.
