Dan Cole from Holley was named news director at 89.1 The Point, student radio station at SUNY College at Brockport, for the fall 2004 semester.

Cole, a 2002 graduate of Holley High School, has previously been involved at the station as an on-air announcer and in the news department.

Brianna Harmon of North Chili placed first in the Junior All Star Individuals competition. Harmon is a member of the Victors Gymnastics' Ultimate Cheer All Stars who competed at Darien Lake on September 26.
