•Dittman, Pauline M., age 87 on September 15, 2004 in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Formerly a resident of Rochester, Spencerport and Greece. Mrs. Dittman moved to Maryland in 2002. She was the wife of the late Fred Dittman, her husband of 47 years. She is survived by one brother, Nicholas Zenkar; four daughters, Marie Bourg and husband, Christian of Veyrier du Lac, France, Ellen Kenny of Eastchester, Kathryn Kelly of Morristown, New Jersey, Joanne Zoladz and husband Chris of Germantown, Maryland; a son, Paul Dittman and wife, Nancy of Brockport; granddaughter, Elizabeth Pollice; grandsons, Paul Gerard Dittman II and wife Kim of Hilton and Frederick Michael Dittman and wife, Colleen of Brockport, 5 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass was said October 16 at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Brockport. Inurnment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Brockport. Memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimers Association, 919 North Michigan Avenue, Suite 1100, Chicago, IL 60611-1676.


•Gillette, Donald M., July 11, 2004 Predeceased by wife, Fannie; Step-son, Christopher (Tonda) Corbett, brothers Maxwell (Lydia) and Herbert (Dorothy), sister, Dorothy (Clifford) Lane. Survived by wife of 33 years, Margaret; son Jack (Marsha) Gillette; daughter, Carole (Pat) Hickey; grandson, Dan Hickey; sister, Vera (Francis) Lochner; nieces, nephews.

A Memorial Service was held October 16 at the Bergen United Methodist Church of Bergen. Interment, Sandy Creek Cemetery.


•Vito, Richard, Suddenly, October 9, 2004. Survived by his wife Karol (Haag) Vito, parents John and Angela Vito, brothers and sister Lawrence M. (Jeanne) Vito, Margaret Mary "Peggy" (Ronald) Penders and John R. Jr. (Angela) Vito; maternal grandmother Mary Barbato; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

A Memorial Service was held October 12 at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory.


BROCKPORT

•Balmer, Howard "Howie", October 9, 2004 at age of 55. He was born to Howard and Jean Balmer of Rochester; sisters, Diane of Florida and Pam Miller of Rochester; brother, Dayne of Lancaster; wife of six years, Donna; daughter Shannon; twin sons, Todd (Lisa) and Jeremy of Rochester. Retired in 1999 after working at Kodak for 20 years. Prior to that he was employed by Bastian Brothers in Rochester.

Funeral Services were held October 12 at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Private interment. Donations can be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, Virginia 22038-1131 in his memory.


•Clark, Jeanne Marie, October 6, 2004 at the age of 38. She is predeceased by her father, Malcolm Clark Sr. She is survived by her mother, Linda and father, Clarence Emery; sons, Joseph Brandenburg and Joshua Preedom; daughter, Finessa Brandenburg all of Brockport; brother, Malcolm Clark Jr. of Friendship. sister, Lisa Ann (James) Crawford of Brockport; step brother, Clarence (Brenda) Emery II of Holley; step sisters, Fran (Brett) Norseworthy of Kendall and Terri (Don) Jones of Florida; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

•Dubicki, Karen N. (Neuwirth), October 13, 2004, at the age of 61. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Cas; daughter, Catherine George; granddaughter, Amber Irene George; brother, Robert Neuwirth; mother-in-law, Mildred Dubicki; in-laws, Richard (Jean) Dubicki, Raymond (Mary) Dubicki, Jessica (Gary) Boyd and Antonia Dubicki; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

•Kelso, Luther Frank, October 4, 2004. He is survived by his beloved wife, Leona who he married on June 6, 1942; daughters, Norine (William) Carter and Sandra (Terry) Hawks; grandchildren, William (Michelle) Carter of New Jersey, Jason (Christine) Carter of North Carolina, Ryan (Renie) Carter of Florida and Janna (Nathan) Keefe of Syracuse; four great grandchildren. Luther was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Hamlin.

•Ricotta, Louis, October 7, 2004 age 89, after a two month illness. Predeceased by his wife, Annabelle, 1999; eight brothers and two sisters. Survived by his son, Gerald; special nephew, Gary Luehm; many other nieces and nephews. A WWII veteran, he served under Gen. Patton in 3rd Army, 127st Engineers Combat Battalion, participating in the Battle of the Bulge.

A Graveside Service was held October 11 at Garland Cemetery. Those wishing can contribute to their favorite charity in his memory.


HILTON

•Crawford, Lelia M. (Blodgett), October 2, 2004, age 96. She is survived by her sisters, Alice Eichler and Iona Stackman; sister-in-law, Carol Blodgett; many nieces and nephews including Shirley Knoeferl.

A Graveside Service was held October 12, at Garland Cemetery.


•Stell, Carlton E. "The Grump", Suddenly, October 6, 2004. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce (Rebman); his children, Kurt (Antinette) Stell and Karen (Terry) Nichols; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Todd) Calvaruso, Susan (Johnda) Snyder, Samantha Stell, Kari, Tara and Trisha Duchyns, Terry (Erica), Chris (Tracey), Kevin and Shannon Nichols; brother, Gerald (Helen) Stell; brother-in-law, Roger (Anita) Rebman; several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was a Coast Guard veteran, Kodak retiree, life member of Hilton Fire Department, an avid bowler, hunter and fisherman.

•Ricotta, Irene L., October 8, 2004, age 86. Pre-deceased by husband, Vincent; son, Vincent; daughter, Patrica Luehm. Survived by daughter, Mary Ryan; son, Terry (Carol) Ricotta; two brothers, Robert Van Dorn, Norman (Elaine) Van Dorn; two sisters Shirley (Paul) Draper and Dorothy Adams; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

•Ogden, Edna I., October 6, 2004. Survived by her husband, Philip; two children, Carl (Thao), Karen (Douglas) Pereira; four grandchildren, Ethan, Evan, Elise, Luc; four brothers, M. Kenneth (LeOra) Mudge, Roland (Dorothy) Mudge, Edward (Bonnie) Mudge, Wesley (Jenny) Mudge; two sisters, Florence (Richard) Riesen Eleanor Nichols; several nieces and nephews. Edna was an active member of Pearce Memorial Church and a leader in Community Bible Study.

SPENCERPORT

•Davison, Maxine B., Sunday, October 10, 2004. She was predeceased by her husband Donald F. Davison. She is survived by her children, Andrew (Ann) Davison of Florida and Hallie Davison of North Carolina; grandchildren, Andrea (David) VanSleet of Vermont, Susan (Kode) Kaufman of Georgia and Sandra (Brett) Bailey of Vermont; great grandchildren, Michael Andrew (son of Andrea), Jack Andrew and Maxwell Davison Kauf-man, Duncan Andrew and Van Robert Bailey; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Davison was former CEO of Ogden Telephone Company.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 19, 2004 at 4 p.m. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 65 Church Street, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the Spencerport Volunteer Fire Department or to the Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance in her memory.


•Doherty, Daniel R., October 8, 2004 at age 79. Predeceased by his sister Frances Pogroszewski. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Lucille (Keenan) Doherty; his children, Patrick (Connie) Doherty and Kathleen (Kevin) Breiner; his beloved granddaughters Brittany Doherty, Amy, Erin and Eileen Breiner; sister Elaine (Richard) DuMont; brother Joseph (Geri) Doherty; brother-in-law Stanley Pogroszewski; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held October 11 at St. Christopher's Church, North Chili. Interment, St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery, Churchville. Contributions can be made to St. Vincent DePaul Church Building Fund or Lakeside Memorial Hospital in his memory.


•Ryan, Martin F., October 8, 2004 at age 92. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Ellen. He is survived by his children, Martin T. (Judy) Ryan, Pat Ryan and Michael (Suzanne) Ryan; three grandchildren, John (Julie) Ryan, Colleen (Wayne) Mattison and Christine (Andy) Milne; his sister Ann Lawrenz; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Rochester Products and was a former member of the Spencerport School Board and Spencerport Zoning Board.
