BCSD schedules induction ceremony
for the athletic wall of honor

Five individuals will be honored in BCSD's first induction ceremony. They are Jack Hogan, retired physical education teacher and coach, along with four individuals who will be recognized posthumously: Bill Corbin, former boys basketball coach and math teacher; Nat (Bud) O. Lester, II, former basketball player, longtime youth advocate; Katie Sweeting, former girls basketball player and Doug Westcott, former star athlete in football, basketball and baseball, physical education teacher and director of athletics. The wall of honor features a plaque, including a picture and a listing of the honorees' outstanding contributions to the Athletic Program, that will be displayed on a wall outside the lower gym at the middle school.

The community is invited to nominate people for induction in next year's ceremony. Criteria for selection include: bravery, service, honor, support, teamwork, sportsmanship and citizenship to the BCSD Interscholastic Athletic Program. The person nominated can be an athlete, coach, administrator, community member or role model who has made an impact on the athletic program.

Nomination forms are available on the district's web site at http://brockport.k12.ny.us, in the District Office, High School Office and Athletic Office.

The induction ceremony will be held Tuesday, December 28 at 7:45 p.m. (please note the date change from December 8 that was originally publicized). The ceremony will take place prior to the start of the Brockport Boys Varsity Basketball game in the lower gym at the A.D. Oliver Middle School.
