planning Westside Relay for Life

The Westside Relay for Life has begun preparing for the 2005 Westside Relay for Life held annually at Spencerport High School track. This event is in its sixth year and is scheduled for June 3 to 4, 2005. Over the past five years, the Westside Relay for Life has raised over $250,000 for the fight against cancer. In 2004, this two-day event raised $53,319 by 37 teams composed of 642 participants. Fundraising is an important part, but not the only part of the Relay for Life's mission. The Relay for Life serves as a messenger for informing the public about treatments, current research, proactive approaches and information about cancer.
