Memorial display

Assemblyman Bill Reilich visits the 9/11 Memorial Display in Albany. This display was transported to Albany for viewing in early January in the "War Room" at the State Capitol. Once erected, the monument will include the base of the North Tower as a monument with names of some of the victims and crew members; sounds of water falling from street level to reflecting pools below; an area where the remains of unidentified victims are entombed as well as a place for family members to mourn the loss of loved ones in private; there will be a grove of trees planted that will mark the entry way from Liberty Street; the monument is marked by the tallest of the new buildings, "Freedom Tower," that will feature a glass roof.
