Sabatka leads Saints swimmers

Freshman Mike Sabatka finished first in the 200-yard Individual Medley and the 100-yard butterfly and was part of the top relay team in the 200-yard Medley Relay as Churchville-Chili beat Hilton 97-66.

Sabatka finished the Individual Medley in 2:19.3 and the Butterfly in 1:03.4. He was joined by Andy McKeown, Ben Walence and John Virzi in the Medley Relay in 1:51.5.

Co-captain Virzi took first in the 50-yard Freestyle in :24.98, co-captain McKeown was tops in the 100-yard Backstroke and co-captain Walence was first in the 100-yard Breaststroke in 1:14.2.

Other winners for the Saints were Abram Murante in the 200-yard Freestyle in 2:09.5, Devin Flood in Diving with 128.15 points and Ryan Schrimer in the 100-yard Freestyle in :57.5. McKeown, Walence, Murante and Virzi also teamed up to take top honors winning the 200-yard Freestyle Relay in 1:43.1.

Hilton's Matt Sadowski took first place in the 500-yard Freestyle in 6:10.2 and, with Jolly Scott, Paul Moore and Nick Snell, was first in the meet-ending 400-yard Freestyle Relay in 4:27.2. Sadowski also was second in the 50-yard Freestyle while teammate Brendan Goodwine was second in the 100-yard Butterfly.
