Bright Raven gymnasts
are first at Graffiti Meet

The Bright Raven Gymnastics girls Level 4 team finished in first place as a team at the Graffiti Invitational held in Lockport January 9 with one member of the team scoring a perfect 10.

Carly King earned a 10.00 in the Level 4 vaulting competition to win first place among 63 competitors in the 10-11 age division. Lauren Ciranni took first place in floor exercise and third place on balance beam in the same division. Competing in the six to eight age division, Megan Stevens earned second place in vaulting.

Bright Raven gymnasts swept the top all around places in the 12 and over age division with Melissa Rombola leading. Rombola captured first place all around and also won first place on floor exercise, first on balance beam and second on the uneven parallel bars. Laura Manciocchi took second all around and took first place on vault, first on bars and second on floor. Jackie Bowser placed third all around and tied for second on beam with Hailey Clark. Clark also earned second place on vault. Leah Ferreri was third on bars. Jessica Tamol and Carly Kreitzberg tied for third place on floor. Other gymnasts contributing to the team effort included: Hailey Cunningham, Tara Phillips, Nicole Bell, Danielle Adam, Amber Rice, Rachel Shire, Rachel Davis and Audrey Clarke.

Bright Raven earned the first place team award with a total score of 184.15.
