The Victors gymnasts compete

The Victors Gymnastics Team of Greece completed in the 19th annual Leatherstocking Invitational, January 15-16 in Utica. The Victors' Team placed first overall in Level 4, third overall in Level 5 and third overall in Level 6 team competitions.

In the 11 and older age division, the Level 4 team was led by Brittany Curreri of Greece who placed first on floor exercise and in the all around and second on vault and balance beam. Mariah Burkhard of Greece placed first on the vault, third on uneven bars and in the all around. Stephanie Mastrogiovani of Hilton placed first on the uneven bars, and Jessica Beaney of Greece placed third on vault and floor exercise.

In the 7-9 age division, the Level 5 team was led by Elizabeth Gangale of Ogden who placed first in the all around, second on vault, uneven bars and floor exercise, and third on the balance beam. Stephany House of Greece placed first on uneven bars, second on balance beam, third on floor exercise and second in the all around.

In the 12 and older age division, the Level 5 team was led by Kathie Boehm of Greece who placed third on floor exercise.

The Level 6 team was led by Hannah Steiner of Brighton who placed second on the vault. Venessa Incardone of Greece placed third on floor exercise.

The Level 7 team was led by Stephanie Monnat of Greece who placed first on the balance beam, second on floor exercise and second in the all around. Kaila Curatalo of Greece placed second on vault.

In the Greater Buffalo Challenge, January 15-16 in Buffalo:

In the 12 and up Age Division, the Class 6 team was led by Greg Haas of Greece who placed first on pommel horse, still rings and parallel bars, and second in the all-around. Eric Hauck of Greece placed third on pommel horse, parallel bars and in the all-around. Joel Ambrose of Greece placed second on vault and third on the horizontal bar.

The Level 6 team placed second overall in the team competition.

In the Level 5 Early Season New York State Championships on January 23 in New Hartford:

In the 7-9 age division, the Level 5 team was led by Elizabeth Gangale of Ogden who placed first in the all around, first on vault, first on the uneven bars, and second on floor exercise. Stephany House of Greece placed first on the balance beam and second in the all around.
