BOCES 2 Career and Technical Education students fill up the shelves at local food cupboard

Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES teachers Craig Armitage, Jerry Wilcox and aide Kathy Meskill at the Career and Technical Education Center challenged their students to collect a dump truck full of food items for the Spencerport Ecumenical Food Shelf. This year, students, their families and the staff at CTE collected 4,766 food items, the largest amount in the ten years they have been organizing the food drive. Students in the Heavy Equipment classes also helped to sort and deliver the items.
