Spencerport names new varsity football coach

Dan Pincelli has been named as Spencerport’s new varsity football coach. Pincelli takes over for Tony Lipani, who resigned after six years as the Rangers coach, with a record of 21-32.

Pincelli is a 2002 graduate of Hartwick College, where he received his teaching degree in English. While at Hartwick, he played football and baseball and received numerous awards for both his academic and athletic accomplishments. These included being named as the recipient of the Melberger Award as the NCAA Division III Football Player of the Year in 2001. He is a graduate of Aquinas Institute where he played football and baseball. Pincelli is currently an English teacher at Spencerport High School and also coaches JV Baseball. He has been on the Rangers football staff as an assistant coach for the past two years.
