Stormwater Coalition
student logo design contest underway

The Stormwater Coalition of Monroe County is sponsoring a Student Logo Design Contest for students in grades seven through h12. The Stormwater Coalition will use the winning logo on its web page and on educational and training materials.

All public and private school students in grades seven through 12, and home school students, are eligible for the contest. All entrants must be Monroe County residents. Only one entry per student is permitted.

Submissions must be the student's own original artwork and the design must include the words "Stormwater Coalition of Monroe County." The theme that runs through the Stormwater Coalition is that through cooperation among governments, community organizations and citizens we can conserve our lakes, rivers and streams. Students are encouraged to consider this theme as they develop their designs.

The Stormwater Coalition of Monroe County will select the winner of the student logo design contest. The winning student will be awarded a $200 savings bond. Two honorable mention prizes of $100 savings bonds will also be awarded.

Forms are available on the Monroe County website at www.monroecounty.gov.

The deadline for submission is March 31. Logos, and the completed entry form, should be submitted to: Todd Stevenson, Stormwater Coalition of Monroe County, 111 Westfall Road, Room 962, Rochester, New York 14692.
