SSBC Toy Show celebrates 5th anniversary in Spencerport

The Spencerport Sports Booster Club will host their 5th Annual "Toys For Sports" fundraiser on Saturday, April 2 at Spencerport High School in the East Gym. The Toy Show will open at 9 a.m. and run until 3 p.m. Statewide toy and sports card vendors will be in attendance. Admission is $1 for adults, children 12 and under are free.

Antique and modern toys, sports cards and collectibles will be offered for sale. Door prizes (a total of 200 dollars in the form of "Booster Bucks" to be spent at the show) will be drawn every 15 minutes. There will be live auctions on the hour, refreshments for sale by Spencerport Sports Booster Club and Abbott's Frozen Custard and favorite TV and radio music from yesteryear. Area merchants and group sponsorships have helped to support these highlights of the show.

Following the show at 3:30 p.m., a Toy/Sports Auction will feature antique/modern toys and sports collectibles. Auction items have been acquired through show vendors, private collectors and student-athlete toy drives. Minimum and non-minimum bid items will be auctioned. The auction includes 100 plus listings featuring toys from the 1950s to the 1990s. Large volumes of sports cards will also be up for auction. Special prizes will be drawn prior to the start of the auction for all registered bidders.

All proceeds will benefit the Spencerport Sports Booster and their support of the Ranger athletic programs. For information call Bob at (585) 352-5498.
