Angela D. Battisti of Mondavi Circle in Spencerport is taking part in an internship this spring through SUNY Oswego's Experience-Based Education Program.

Battisti, a senior business administration major, interns at North Coast Yoga in Oswego.


Rhonda K. Devan has been named assistant vice president for finance and management at the State University of New York at Brockport.

Devan will be responsible for the Office of Budget, Student Financial Services, and the Office of Telecommunications. In addition, she will be involved in the administration of the SUNY Brockport MetroCenter, located in downtown Rochester. She also will represent her division on a number of College-wide committees and participate in the development of external campus partnerships that have financial implications.

Prior to coming to SUNY Brockport, Devan was Director of Finance at the Greece Central School District. She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Roberts Wesleyan College. She completed a certificate of advanced study in school business administration and a master's degree in education from SUNY Brockport. She also is a certified public accountant.

She is a resident of Churchville.


Daniel Spaulding, son of Deborah and Kevin Spaulding of Spencerport, is the recipient of Stantec's of engineering scholarship. The scholarship is awarded on an annual basis to a top high school senior, who has been accepted into an ABET-accredited engineering program at a four-year college or university.

A senior at Churchville-Chili High School, Spaulding is an active member in the National Honor Society, Foreign Language Honor Society, and the Cross Country and Track/Indoor Track Team. He earned First Team All-County honors for two consecutive years. In the community, Spaulding is a member of the West Side Baptist Church youth group and participates annually in Flower City Work Camp.


Roberts Wesleyan College Nursing Honor Society, seeking to become a part of a chapter-at-large of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, inducted the following local members: Whitney Booth, Diana Chaddock, Emilia Chew, Amy Faro, Melinda Fitzsimmons, Deborah Garney, Stephanie Geary, Cynthia Gordon, Cindy Jeffries, Patricia Castellana, Carol Mason, Jeannine Nonan, Louise Sulitka, Bernadette Schuffenecker, Angela Jones, Kimberly McGlinchey, Yvonne Moore, Cynthia Paxhia, Lori Roche, Cathy Smith, Susan Stell, Diane Stonemetz, Becky Tillet, Diana Volkman, Christine Matjas, Susan Ramsey, Judith Treschul, Jessica Reto.


Ryan Hickey of Spencerport completed academic degree requirements at Syracuse University College of Arts and Sciences in the fall of 2004. He will receive a bachelor's degree in history and selected studies in education at commencement exercises in May.


Century 21 Capital has announced that Century 21 Real Estate Corporation recently recognized Dick Lippa, Associate Broker with the office, as one of the system's top-producers nationwide when it honored him with the system's coveted, emerald level Masters Award. He has earned this honor for four straight years.

Emerald level status is awarded to an agent who has met minimum adjusted gross commissions of $125,000 or 40 awards units within a calendar year. A gold-plated lapel pin with emerald accept is awarded to the agent during the Awards Ceremony, in addition to a trophy and a personal invitation to attend a Century 21 Top Agent Retreat. Lippa has been selling Real Estate since 1977.


Prudential K.A.R.E.S. Realty's Bill Howard has been awarded the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors, Inc. "Sales Master Platinum" Award for 2004. This award is presented annually to GRAR members who have closed 100+ transactions in a twelve month period. In 2004, only 31 members have received this prestigious honor out of a possible 2,900+ members. Howard has also received the 2004 Prudential "Chairman's Circle-Gold" Award.

Brian Grover and David Teske have been awarded the GRAR "Sales Master" Award for 35 closed transactions in 2004. Grover, Teske and Cathy Desiderio have received the "2004 Prudential Leading Edge Society" Award for being in the top six percent of all Sales Associates within the Prudential Real Estate Network. The Prudential awards were to be presented at the annual convention in Las Vegas on March 14. "Once again, Prudential K.A.R.E.S.
