Brett Owens, a student at Canal View Elementary School, poses with a visiting snake who came to town with the Understanding Wildlife troupe that visited Canal View and Bernabi elementary schools this month. The non-profit organization brings birds, snakes, chimpanzees and other rain forest animals to schools to teach conservation topics. More than 700 children and parents attended the evening assembly. |
