ALBION

•Farrow, Annemarie, April 1, 2005 at age 43. She is predeceased by her father Bud O'Dell and her brother Peter McDermott. She is survived by her daughter Diana; her mother Roberta McDermott; brothers Bruce (Karen) McDermott, Keith McDermott; William (Merilu) O'Dell, Norman (Jane) O'Dell, Gary (Jeanette) O'Dell, sisters Patricia (Jeff) Davis and Sharon Bishopp; sisters-in-law Debbie Stoffel; nieces and nephew Shannon and Heather McDermott, Timothy and Lauren Farrow; husband Matthew Farrow.

Funeral Services were held April 7 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Interment, Fairfield Cemetery.


•Hart Sr., Warren W., died March 31, 2005 at his home after a long illness. He was employed by the Village of Brockport until his retirement in 1994. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary Jane in 1982. He is survived by five children, Warren "J.R." (Kim) Hart Jr., of Hamlin, Debbie (Norman) Bloom of Jeddo, Peggy Hart of Rochester, David Hart of Rochester, Audrey (Dan) Harp of Albion; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Taylor of Albion, Beverly Hart of Kent; stepmother, Arlene Hart of Medina; four stepchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a daughter Karen Hart and a sister Gertrude Lane.

Funeral Services were held April 4 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. Burial at the convenience of the family. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.


BROCKPORT

•Talen, Debra Love, 42, of Waleska, Georgia on March 30, 2005. Born in Geneva, Debra grew up in Brockport. She resided in Lake Arrowhead in Waleska, Georgia, since 1995. She graduated from Brockport High School in 1980 and Monroe Community College in 1982 and worked as a dental hygienist.

She is survived by her husband, Tom; her children, Olivia Grace and John Thomas; her mother, Barbara Love and companion John McGurn of Largo, Florida; her father, Richard Love of Canton, Georgia; her sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Les Lambert of Cumming, Georgia; her mother and father-in-law, Dorothy and John Pastalenic of Arkport and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jana and Norman Thompson of Rochester.

CHURCHVILLE

•Jones, Rodney K., March 30, 2005, at age 61, after a short illness. He is survived by his wife Laurie Kalwas; his children Christopher and Bethany Jones, Melissa (Daryle) Ciejka and Catherine (Victor) Cusato; his grandchildren, Daniel and Gianna Cusato; his brother Donald (Nancy) Jones; mother-in-law, Rita Kalwas; sisters-in-law, Jill (David) O'Mara and Marilyn (Russ) Allen; several nieces and nephews. Rodney was President and Owner of Service Plus appliance repair, in Depew, NY, a member of Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word, the Riga Zoning Board of Appeals and a former member of the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department.

CLIFTON

•Betteridge, Dorothy Rae, April 2, 2005, at age 76. Predeceased by her husband, William, grandson, Billy Betteridge and son-in-law Angelo Nuccie. She is survived by her children James (Karen) Betteridge, Bonnie Nuccie; her grandchildren, Paula, AJ, Matthew, Laura, Ian, David, Lisa and Austin; nephews Bill and John Ottewell.

A Memorial Service was held April 5 at the Clifton Baptist Church, Clifton. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the Latta Road Nursing Home (Building A), 2100 Latta Road, Rochester, NY 14626 in her memory.


FANCHER

Fox, Marion W., Suddenly in Florida on March 18, 2005; predeceased by her husband Charles Fox. Survived by her children; Jennifer Hall, Charlean Gurnsey, and James (MaryAnn) Carpenter. Also survived by brothers Glenn (Joanne) Winkler, Kendall and Robert (Gladys) Winkler, Dolgeville; sisters, Helen (Robert) Fries, Altamont, Stella Dillon, West Palm Beach, Florida, Doris (Harry) McIntosh, Caroga Lake,; sister-in-law, Virginia Winkler, Little Falls; four grandchildren; one great grandson; nieces and nephews. She was retired from the nursing staff at Lakeside Memorial Hospital, Brockport and in recent years she had been a loving caretaker to many patients in their homes.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 16, at 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Hamlin. Memorials can be made to St. John Lutheran Church 2006 Anniversary Fund in her memory.


HILTON

•Musclow, Elmer F., March 29, 2005. Survived by his wife, Dorothy; children, James (Kathie) Musclow, Richard (Debra) Musclow; brother, Orville (Jean) Musclow; sister, Edna Bisig; grandchildren, James (Sherry) Musclow, Rhonda (Khris) Bailey, Rosine (Todd) Tantalo, Stephanie, Matt, Rick and Marc Musclow; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

•Schaefer, Sophie A. (Bayley), April 4, 2005, age 74. Survived by her husband of 52 years, Harold; children, Dixie Messenger, Harold (Nancy) Schaefer, Peggy Kurtz; grandchildren, April (Jason) Knarr, Ann Messenger, Ryan (Alicia) Messenger, Devin Schaefer, Bradley Schaefer, Caitlin Barry, Brendan and Barry.

A Funeral Service was held April 8 at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Spring interment, Lakeside Cemetery. Donations can be made to Genesee GRHC Hospice in her memory.


HOLLEY

•Buelte, Bernice W., age 91, died March 6, 2005 at the Lakeside-Beikirch Care Center, Brockport.

Predeceased by her husband, Cletus J. Buelte. She is survived by her children Patricia (Michael) Giglio of Holley and Robert (Jill) Buelte of Chester, New Hampshire; her grandsons Robert (Julie) and Steven Buelte; also by her sister Ruth Ward and brother William (Margaret) Wamser, both of Rochester; several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Holley, the Home Bureau of Holley and was also a member of the Cobblestone Society. She worked as a librarian at the Holley Community Free Library for 29 years, retiring from there in 1996.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 16 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Holley. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lakeside-Beikirch Care Center or to the Holley Community Free Library


MORTON

Skutt, Alan G., age 50 of Leesburg, Virginia, March 25, 2005 at his home after a long battle with colon cancer. He was raised in Morton. Graduated from Kendall High School in 1973. Received his bachelor's degree summa cum laude from Roberts Wesleyan College in 1977 and his juris doctorate summa cum laude from Pettit Law College, Ohio Northern University. He worked at Lawyers Co-Op for seven years and the last 14 years as an Assistant Counsel at the Law Revision Counsel of the U.S. House of Representatives. He was a local Justice of the Peace in Rushville, New York, while they lived in New York state.

He was the beloved husband of 27 years to Jeannette Lockwood; loving and devoted father of Angela Keedy of Illinois, Daniel, Jeffrey, Sarah, Emily, Timothy, Abilgail and Anna all of Leesburg, Virginia; brother of James Skutt of North Carolina, Richard Skutt of Henrietta.

Services were held on April 1, 2005 at Temple Baptist Church, Herndon, Virginia. Interment at Union Cemetery, Leesburg, Virginia. Memorial contributions can be made to Temple Baptist Church or the Skutt Children's Education Fund c/o Cardinal Bank, 120 Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg, Virginia 20175.


NORTH CHILI

Slingerland, Betty Louise (Moag), April 1, 2005, at the age of 80. Survived by her children, Nancy (Dwain) Howell, Richard (Margaret) Slingerland, James (Pam) Slingerland; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nephews. Betty was a retiree of Bausch & Lomb after 25 years of service.

A Funeral Service was held April 6 at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, Inc., Greece. Interment, Riverdale Cemetery, Niagara Falls, New York.


SPENCERPORT

•Crawford, Ellen (Agness), April 4, 2005. Predeceased by her husband, Ernest Crawford; son, Timothy. She is survived by her children, Michael (Ann) Crawford, James (Teresa) Crawford of Dalton, Ellen (Richard) Stonegraber, Patrick (Evelyn) Crawford; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Mary) Agness; sisters-in-law, Marge Agness of Florida, Eileen Morrell; several nieces and nephews.

Mercer, Robert R., in Leesburg, Florida, March 30, 2005 at age 82. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Dolores (Johnston) Mercer and his daughter Gail Gardner.
