Entertainers scheduled for Wheel Fest

Several entertainers will take part in Hamlin Wheel Fest from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 4. The 8th annual festival will be held at Hamlin Fireman's Field, Route 19, Hamlin and area residents are reminded to save the date.

In addition to a vintage car cruise-in, a quilt display, demonstrations by the Genesee Valley Handspinners Guild, popular children's characters such as Sponge Bob Square Pants touring the site and face painting, several groups will also take part.

The Brockport school bands will play at 10 a.m., the many talented students from Jeannie's Dance Connection and Karate demonstrations will kick off the afternoon at noon. Radio controlled airplanes will be showcased prior to a game called "I Got It." At 6 p.m. the music of "Shama Lama" will fill the air. The day will be capped off with a fireworks display at 10 p.m.
