AREA

•Hartmann, Paul F., Died April 7, 2005, after a long illness at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his beloved son, David M. Hartmann, who died September 1, 1997. He is survived by his wife, Mildred M. Hartmann; his sons and daughters-in-law, Paul H. and Lynne of Holley, Carl of Ogden, Daniel and Deborah of Hilton; his granddaughter, Amanda. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of the DAV, retiree of Eastman Kodak Company and a member of the Rochester Musicians' Union.

Funeral Service and Interment in White Haven Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to First Bible Baptist Church, 1039 North Greece Road, Rochester 14626 in his memory.


CLARKSON

•Barnes, Mary Louise (Garrison), died April 15, 2005 at age of 87. Lifelong resident of Clarkson, affectionately known as "Red." She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Barnes of New Smyrna, Florida and Barbara Barnes and her husband Dennis Rings of Vero Beach, Florida; four grandchildren, Charlotte, Eva, Benjamin and Virginia; great granddaughter, Felicia; sister, Betty Murphy of Rochester; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service was held April 18 at First Presbyterian Church of Brockport. Interment at convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory.


HILTON

Schriner, Catherine, Age 84, died March 21, 2005, in Ohio. Born in Scotland, she was a long-time resident of Hilton. She is predeceased by her husband, Russell. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth (Warren) Hollar and Janet (Loren) Andrews; six grandchildren; her cousin, Catherine Marshall and many other cousins.

A Memorial Service was held April 17 at Elmgrove United Methodist Church. Contributions in her memory can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.


HOLLEY

Dreher, Helen (Friedo), Age 90, died April 12, 2005. She is survived by her son, Peter (Mary Jane) Dreher of Holley; grandsons, Paul and Kevin; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Helen was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas and Joseph Friedo; two sisters, Mary Vanell and Delia Corletta.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said April 23 at St. Mary's Church, Holley. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Contributions can be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society of Holley in her memory.


•Farino, Gwen Preston, 71, died March 28, 2005, at home following a courageous battle with cancer. A thirty-five year resident of Virginia Beach, Gwen was born in Albion. The daughter of the late L. D. and Mary Preston, she lived in Holley, until her marriage to Francis Farino in 1955. Gwen attended State University of New York at Albany and taught elementary school following college. She and her husband Frank raised five children while living along the east coast from Maine to Key West during Frank's career as a Naval submarine officer. Gwen was predeceased by her husband, Frank Farino and a brother, Neil Preston. She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Carol and Wayne Wright of Virginia Beach, Linda and John Connor of Virginia Beach; three sons and their wives, Dale and Julie Farino of Virginia Beach, Mark Farino of Menlo Park, California, Douglas and Diane Farino of Virginia Beach; eleven grandchildren, Todd Wright, Tucker and Elizabeth Connor, Courtney and Kendall Farino, Will, Wyatt and Julia Farino, Kristin, Holly and Joseph Farino; three sisters, Gail Sevor of Holley, Nadine Gage of Milford, Connecticut, Lynette Hill of Pittsford; brother, Loren Preston of Hendersonville, North Carolina; a host of other family members and special friends.

A Mass of the Resurrection was held on April 1 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Virginia Beach. Burial was at Arlington National Cemetery on April 13. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Avenue, Norfolk, Virginia 23513.


KENDALL

•Jurhs, Uldine "Deanie," Died suddenly April 11, 2005. Predeceased by grandson, Arthur Jurhs. Survived by husband of 54 years, Everett; daughter, Pamela (Lawrence) Rowles; son, Thomas (Paula) Jurhs; grandchildren, Kristina, Stacey, Robert, Raina, Alex and Dean; sister, Nona (Albert) Antczak; sister-in-law, Madalon Young; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held April 19 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Kendall. Interment, West Kendall Cemetery. Donations can be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, Kendall Lions Club or The Colorado SIDS Program, Inc. in her memory.


SPENCERPORT

Hutchins, Rosemary J. (Moore) (Quinn), April 18, 2005. She was predeceased by her husbands, Edward Moore and Charles Hutchins; her daughter, Betty Moore; her brother Robert Quinn; brother-in-law, Francis Mahoney. Beloved mother of Richard Moore, Sharon (Peter) Bruno, Diane (Sox) Wilcox, Mary Brandenburg, Linda (Robert) Moore, Peggy (Terry) Lucas and James (Cerenity) Hutchins; beloved grandmother of Katy and Hannah Bruno, Melissa and Adam Wilcox, Zac Brandenburg, Rory and Hope Moore, Elizabeth Lucas; her brother William (Dene) Quinn; her sisters Agnes (Thomas) VanAuker, Sister Mary Brigid Quinn RSM, Marguerite Mahoney; sister-in-law, Gloria Quinn; stepchildren and step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said April 22 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Interment, St. John's Cemetery. Contribu-tions can be made to Open Door Mission in her memory.


Yencer, Myrtle A. (Brienzi) "Grandma," April 15, 2005, at age 91. Predeceased by her husbands, Michael Brienzi and Glenn Yencer; children, Rosemarie, Mauro and Michael Brienzi Jr.; brothers, Roy and Wilmont Hooker. Survived by her daughters, Marie (John) Kellerson, Linda (Michael) Griffee; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews and friends.
