Todd Smith, son of Gary and Pattie Smith of Spencerport, was awarded National Sales Rep of the Year for Paychex. The award was presented by new CEO John Judge in Orlando/Disney World, Florida. He has also received numerous awards for number one in sales for payroll in the last three years and has also broken the record for most sales in one year, 356. Smith is a 1997 graduate of Spencerport High School.


Joseph P. Luciano of Hamlin and Raymond E. Massey of Holley have been inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, a national all-discipline honor society, at SUNY Oswego.

Luciano, a junior studying technology education at Oswego, is the son of Peter and Janet Luciano of Hamlin. Massey, a junior studying information science at Oswego, is the son of Gene Massey of Holley and Patricia Massey of Holley.


Ashley Rath, a 2003 graduate of Kendall High School, has been attending SUNY Oswego for two years. She is working on her bachelor of arts in graphic design as well as a minor in international business. Along with the other 17 members of the class, Rath will be showing her books at the "Book Arts - Not a Waste of Paper" exhibition. The books reflect her ambitions to be creative, as well as display elements of her personality. Other pieces include abstract and non-traditional books, destined to tell a story and a spin on what defines a book. The exhibit runs through May 4.
