AREA

Mower, George J., (Miller) (Sands) (Boyer), Suddenly on April 23, 2005 at the age of 84. He is survived by his wife, Martha Poland Mower; son, Jay Mower; daughters, Joy Sands and Jan (Jim) Miller; as well as step-children, Susan (Edwin) Gorts, Stephen (Gay) Boyer and Thomas Boyer; he also leaves eight grandchildren, Anna and Jeffrey Mower, David and Timothy Gorts, William Boyer and Shelley Bennigsohn, Clinton and Mark Boyer; as well as great-grandson, David Steves; and sister, Ruth Mower. He was predeceased by his first wife, Carol Mason Mower, and step-son, Robert Boyer. George served in the USAF for two years during WWII. His work life was spent mainly in printing with Lawyers Co Op and General Code Publishers.

A Memorial Service was held April 29 at Brighton Presbyterian Church, 1775 East Avenue. Contributions can be made to his church.


CHURCHVILLE

•Bruckman, Arthur W., April 21, 2005. Arthur is survived by his wife of 56 years, Margaret (Van Loo) Bruckman; his sons Thomas (Cathy) Bruckman and Kenneth Bruckman; grandchildren Jessica, Jeffrey and Andrew Bruckman, Michael, Steven and Laura Bruck-man. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company and a member of Harvey C. Noone American Legion Post #954.

A Funeral Mass was said April 25 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Churchville. Interment St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department in his memory.


GARLAND

McCagg, Jean M., April 27, 2005. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert; her children, Kathy Hardman, Paul (Darla), Stephen (Jean Marie), David (Dianne), Elizabeth Freed; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters, Elizabeth (Franklin) Spinner, Patricia (Donald) Greene, Mary Dolan; brother, Carlos Harrington Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said April 30 at the Church of the Nativity BVM. Interment, Garland Cemetery. Those wishing can contribute to Lakeside Memorial Hospital in her memory.


HILTON

O'Brien, Margaret M., April 23, 2005, age 83. Survived by her sisters, Ann Tower and Therese O'Brien; niece, Kathie (Lance) Snead; great-nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret's family would like to thank Hilton East, Park Ridge Hospital and St. Ann's Home for their care and compassion.

A Funeral Mass was said April 27 at St. Ann's Home Chapel. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contribu-tions can be made to the Sisters of Mercy, 1437 Blossom Road, Rochester, NY 14610 in her memory.


SPENCERPORT

Quinn, Donald F., April 23, 2005 at age 79. He was predeceased by his son, Brian. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jean (Lane) Quinn; his children, Kevin (Kim) Quinn, Suzie (Michael) Herrmann, Terry (Ginny) Quinn, Lynn (Marie Rampello) Quinn, Patty (David) Pagani, Bridget (Steve Pollock) Quinn and Tom (Wendy) Quinn; his 10 grandchildren, Ryan and Sean Quinn, Kelly Herrmann, Katie, Michael and Tim Quinn, Jake Quinn, Courtney, David and Rob Pagani; brothers Ralph (Martha) Quinn and James Quinn; sister, Eleanor Weigand; sister-in-law, Shirley Quinn; several nieces and nephews. He was a seven time Quinn Open Champion, retiree of Eastman Kodak Company, a Navy veteran of WWII and a long time member of Lakeshore Country Club.

A Funeral Service was held April 27 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Interment at con-venience of the family. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
