Kendall budget presentation scheduled

The Kendall Board of Education will hold a presentation on the proposed budget for the 2005-2006 school year. The board has adopted a budget in the amount of $14,277,105, which reflects a 5.05 percent increase over the current budget.

The presentation also will include an opportunity to meet the candidates for the Kendall Board of Education, incumbent Christopher Gerken and Christine Klafehn. The candidate receiving the highest number of votes will be elected to a five-year term commencing July 1.

The budget presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kendall High School commons.

The 2005-2006 school budget vote and Board of Education election is Tuesday, May 18 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Kendall Elementary School, 1932 Kendall Road.
